Best Secondary in 3A

I think Harrison Smith was the best safety I've seen in a long time. He will be difficult to replace. I'm sure they will be solid anyway.

Hate that we couldn't keep him home. Oh well, better ND than Bama. Be surprised if he does not see a good bit of action on special teams this year. Should be a deamon on punt/ko coverage units.

He saved at least two touchdowns on special teams against us last year. I think you are right. He very well could play quickly.

He could plat as a freshman. Zbikowski is back however Ndukwe is not. David Bruton (the ONLY Irish secondary player to make a tackle vs LSU) & Harrison Smith should battle for playing time once fall practice begins.

BC.

Maybe. Buddy of mine in Chicago swears the kid is going to start by the end of the season. Said he plays much like the Taylor Mayes kid who wound up starting for So. Cal last year. He does however, see the world through a green tint. Also, FWIW, said Golden Tate has really impressed as an "explosive athlete" at the WR/Return positions during summer workouts.

ruse?

I heard that about "The Golden One" as well. Maybe he'll be the Irish's next great receiver (Brown, Ismail, Samardzija).
