Silverdale Seahawks & Grace Golden Eagles

I thought Grace's middle school team looked very strong, beat a usually good Rhea Central team 22-12 in a jamboree last week. One player, the quarterback, had at least 150 yards rushing in 15 minutes, scored on a 90 yard run and a 60 yard run.

 

As for recruiting, I've heard nothing about David Brainerd. Some may have but we-including me-have to remember new players doesn't necessarily mean recruited players. Still with the Temple situation and the questions at Silverdale (and I think that will be looked at closely, too) suspicion is to be expected.

 

What in the world makes you think Silverdale will be looked into? Do you have any evidence or are you going on instinct? Now i ve not got a clue but i would think that because there are transfers that is not grounds for alleged recruiting, kids transfer all the time why does nt anybody ever accuse Central Ooltewah Red Bank Grace Notre Dame Chattanooga Christian,

or any other big public school of this whats the difference?

I will agree we struggled on offense, but that was only after we rocked their world on our first offensive play. Then they changed up their D real fast. Our offensive coach may be young but early in the game, whoever it is better be on their toes. Because he knows his stuff.

 

CPA's offensive line was pretty much awesome but with as much time as they had ( at minimum of 4 seconds of no one near him) I'm pretty sure they should have hooked something up, I recall only one completion out of about 8 passes with loads of time to make a choice.

 

I look up to CPA very much. They have tons of talent. but our defense has held up to sequatchie, central, and CPA couldn't keep it going, we even held Grundy (2 all) when we were tired.

 

May we have any credit?

 

Sounds like that rumors are confirmed that Grace will have that potent offense everyone says they have. I know the offensive Coordinator, and yes he does know his stuff. Maybe they can outshoot LV and jump up to the 2nd spot in the Region by seasons end.

Because it's a group coming in at one time, at the same time the new coach comes in, and the coach's past reputation with accusations of recruiting in North Georgia. Because of the Temple situation there will likely be more looking into transfers, not necessarily because of out-and-out cheating but to see if they were handled properly.

There s a group of kids that come in every year, he s not new there, now i m with you on the reputation thing but i dont think he s that dumb myself but i ve been wrong before, there should be looking to all schools not just ones with good teams and coaches is all i meant.

With the TT situation everybody saw it coming for the last couple of years.The same stuff is going on at silverdale.This is not instinct this is fact.Take into consideration fact 7-transfers first year head coach starter program in football.Silverdale is a big church and I think it is a great church I know members that attend and a lot of people talk about stuff that happens there not even thinking of something wrong going on.Fact -tours were given by the coaches to players violation that is adminstration job.Coaches visited middle schools in brainerd asking for names of potential athletes-violation-that is not there feeder school.Fact tuition being paid buy non relative for sure one football player, names will not be talked about kids or sponsers.Fact John Allen was forced to quit or be fired at Lakeview after 2 great seasons involving recruiting violations reported by more than one team from same region.Fact Allen attended with other coach from silverdale who was a fca rep Howard high school where he was introduced to athletes.Fact when rumors started last year about all of this stuff mentioned Coach Allen during practice called out 6 or 7 of transfers and told them in front of the team that they were not going to be eligible for the season and they played JV.Many of the TT fans still dont have a clue but look what is happening there.In light of ALL that it SHOULD BE A CLOSE GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
