As always now word out of SOR and the Tigers won a sqweeker with a very tough Oneida team. Whats everyones pick for this county game?

Could be a really fun game to watch. If RW can play ball control football and control the clock they will physically punish the "Green Wave". If the Tigers have assignment breakdowns and lose contain, MW speed will beat RW. Yes, I said it - "Midways speed" they have some guys that can can really scoot.

I imagine that Rockwood got a wakeup call Friday night and you should see a pretty fired up team this week. That, however, doesn't equal a win. It should be one heck of a game.

Rockwood definitely got more than they bargained for out of Oneida. Give the Indians credit where credit's due though... they went toe to toe with a solid 2A school. What hurt Oneida was special teams, but that's another topic entirely.

 

Back on topic, I think Rockwood and Midway both will score two touchdowns, but I'm a little bit uneasy about Midway's kicking game because last year it got so bad they had to go for 2 every time. That said, Midway can very well pull off the upset and has a GREAT chance to do it. But Rockwood has historically owned the series against the boys of South of the River and I think Rockwood will win thanks to special teams.
