That won't be too hard for the church league they play in.

Matt,

Last years USJ team would have only been the 4th seed in that "church league". USJ was 0-3 versus teams in that "church league" last season.

I am sure that Coach Marley would not be too happy about the bulliten board material that you are posting on this forum.

So basically, what you are saying is that USJ's football legacy is basically meaningless since it was in 1A. I actually think USJ could take more pride in it than that, but maybe they will do something in 2A one year that they can feel is a worthy accomplishment.

Oh, and for the record, ALL high school football is a step above middle school. Afterall, that is the step before high school...

Do you go to USJ? Have you ever been to a 1A football game? Or are you just one of those people just has the need to feel that you are above everyone and everything? Just curious.

No, I don't go to USJ, but I've probably seen more 1A football games than Trinity has played in their history (pre and post multiplier). There was this small detail of the multiplier you may have forgotten about. Before the multiplier there were a number of teams (CPA, DCA, Ezell Harding, FRA, I can name more, but they'll do) that were 1A, but were forced to go 2A as USJ was. Those 4 teams alone make 1A much stronger than it is now. Also you may remember (you probably don't, you're not old enough) that prior to 1994 there were 3 classes period (no division II either). So you can see where I'm going, but I'll explain it more if your not getting it, just let me know.

Did I ever say I was better than anyone? No, that was you. In fact, go back and see where I said TCA is a talented football team, I think Friday's game will be a great game. Both sides are well coached and will play hard.

My point is this (and I guess I should have said this), go OUTSIDE (of course anyone involved in 1A will say 1A football is strong) of 1A football in TN and ask anyone, and they will tell you that 1A football is not as strong because of the multiplier, they basically took the problem from 1A and moved it to 2A.

True, like I said 7-3, 6-4, maybe even 5-5, but that still gets them into the playoffs in 1A and they still probably win a game, maybe two. Coach Marley doesn't even have a computer, and he also just got his first cell phone, so he's probably not too worried about CoachT.com right now, they're getting ready to play a game Friday, not reading CoachT.com.

At least 1A is competitive, 1A has 8-10 teams with a legitament chance of winning the Gold football, 2A has about 8-10 teams fighting it out for a silver football.

2A's top football teams could probably beat 1A's top football teams, suprise suprise, they are supposed to that is why it is 2A.

If i remember 3A's Top football team beat 2A's top football team last year, i wonder why, oh wait they are 3A they are supposed to beat 2A teams.

Goodpasture (2A) just beat the 5A 2006 runner-up and 2005 champion Ravenwood, so it does happen, oh wait, they're 2A, they're not supposed to beat 5A teams. Surprise, surprise.

Thanks, you just helped me prove my point.

What point is that? That 1A is better than a "church" league? The face that 1A's top teams can compete with other classifications top teams just proves that it isn't a step above middle school as you put it. You certainly don't consider goodpasture to be a bad team all because they beat ravenwood, we guess what? a tiny little horrible country team from Trousdale beat Livingston when they won state, i guess i understand why you call it a church league though...

You know what this isn't even worth it (I never thought I'd be arguing about TCA football, but there's a first for everything). You win, 1A football is more competitive than 2A. TCA has a talented team they'll do well this year in their region and in their classification. It should be a good game this Friday.

Whoever said trousdale was a "horrible little country team"? Certainly not me, those are your words, not mine. Good luck Friday night.

I'm not trying to start an argument with you about TCA, heck i'm not for TCA, check my screen name buddy. I've just argued with way to many people about 1A football, if you want to talk about how a league is a joke then talk about DII 1A, 1A football may not have DCA, Goodpasture, CPA ... ect. who could beat each other and were arguably the best teams in the state when they played in 1A, but 1A still has quality teams, thats the only thing i was trying to say.

Bill Hardagree as the number 6 ranked dropback player in the country?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

whoever wrote those ranks is obviously getting paid off

3-17 in 2 years, with the awesome stat of 5 interceptions in one game (trinity).

If he breaks the top 1000 on rivals, I would call that an accomplishment.
