Guest FatherRyanBBall
Kinsley Longhurst scored 17 point against a freshman/varsity Brentwood Academy team on Wednesday night. It wasn't enough as BA inched out a victory, 43 to 41. Kinsley shot 2/4 from 2pt range, while adding 3/4 from 3 point land for 75% She also added 4 free throws and 4 assists. Kellianne Thompson added a high post steal with a burst to the basket for 2 late which had Father Ryan on top. However, too many turnovers gave BA the advantage coming down the stretch. Sam Little hit a big 3 for BA and Katlin Adams and Sam kept filling the basket with free throw in the last moments of the game. I can see these two school dueling for the next four years at least. jimbo44
The Foster kid from Cumberland Co. is the one I would pick to lead my team of the future. She was the playmaker in Cumberland Countys win over Oliver Springs at the Livingston JayCees tourney. postplayasrock
Watch out for the Rickman 8th graders. Ashley Matthews is one of the best point guards I've ever seen and the Rickman team as a whole plays awesome. Livingston Academy is goning to keep its winning tradition going for a few years longer.
