Maybe outsiders thought there would trouble filling the hole? QB was talented coming into season and will leave his mark. Most thought the difficult hole to fill was OL and DEs.

Had to be out of town, so how did line look against a good D? If Pats rushed for 200plus they must have been an impact.

Henry County upgraded in the quarterback position. Yea I said it. Go to a Henry Co. game and you'll see why.

there's no doubt marsalis is a good qb but better i'm not sure cuz he doesn't seem to be able to throw as good as calvin. but he was last year's qb and marsalis is this year's qb and there's no real reason to be having this conversation

To me to compare the two would be a wash. Calvin had a stonger arm, but Marsalis I believe would win the footrace. Both ran the offense well. Both are fierce competitors. So I think that Marsalis has stepped in this year in Calvin's place and we haven't noticed the loss of a great player. That is nice to have as a coaching staff when you have guys that step up and never skip a beat with what you want to do as a team. Marsalis and the other Patriots will have to step up and make plays for I fear that teams are going to stack the line of scrimmage and try to stop Allen. If the other Pats can make plays and force the defense to play honest the sky is the limt. Speaking of Calvin read that he played Sat. and scored a td so good for him and I hope he helps TSU in the coming years. Go Big Red!!

Yes calvin came in at the end and had a 19 yard touchdown run. Thats great news for calvin. I didnt think he would see much if any playin time this year.

Glad Calvin got a chance to get in the game. This came from TSU story line.

In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs scored twice in a stretch of 1:11 to push their advantage to 42-16. TSU freshman QB Calvin McNairl engineered the Tigers to their final score, capping a 57 yard drive with a 19-yad TD run (6:53).

    • Is coach egghead supposed to be Derek Rang?
    • There are some potentials internal to the school system. Due to timing of this, that may be the route they go. If so, I'd say a few names would be, Brandon Eden, Kyle Gregory, or BJ West. Eden and Gregory have only been assistants at the HS level but may express interest. West has not been on the HS staff but has been HC of the Middle school that last few years and word on the street has been that he is highly interested. There may be others as well.    Going outside of the school system, a few names come to mind: Rennard Woodmore, Adam Keeton, and Josh Hackett. But I have no idea if any would interest.
    • A lot of people wanted him.
    • Sure, we can talk about it if you want to. Do you want to talk about zoning for Oak Ridge over the past 10 years with some kids from west? Lol. I don’t think so. I see your point, especially for a private school that stinks at football, but I’m just saying that you said the running back who is arguably one of the best transfers from TKA that West got is Zoned for West, and that’s just incorrect.
