Top 2A Quarterbacks

I'm not trying to bash Hardigree or the USJ squad here. I have a lot of respect for them. But USJ throws it most of the time. You could get the worst quarterback in the state to have numbers like that if you passed every play. Hardigree is a quality player, but I've got to see more from him than big numbers on a big number of pass plays.

How about his high completion percentage and lack of interceptions?

No, actually you can't get the worst QB in the state those kinds of #'s just by passing every play. You never played the position have U? First, u have to throw it to someone who can catch and then you have to keep it away from the other guys on the Other team, who also want to catch the ball. Look at his completions and lack of INT's.

Going into this season I had a question mark by Hardigree as he had struggled with picks for the previous two years and the big knock you heard on him was his teams performance...I think he has answered that question this year...USJ is playing well and his numbers are impressive...I think he is a great QB...he will get a real test tonight against a stong Milan squad

Zach hood aint done nuttin this yr. to prove he is a top 2a Qb heck he gets killed every week how is he even on here u should go and play in traffic!!! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

i think he has proved that he(Hood) can hold his own in the top ranks of 2A quarterbacks with the following stats so far this season through five games:

18-56 for 285 yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions

with -81 yards rushing

    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
