Who is #36 for Ootelwah? he is by far the best defensive player i have seen all year and he has great size. Is any D1 schools looking at him?

your kidding me right? you really just said that and you were serious, wow. ooltewah's players are a bunch of THUGS. they were hitting late the whole game and should have had multiple penalties on them. also on the sideline, there is no way in heck andre started that. it started after he carried the pile for about ten yards and them some stupid ****** slammed him on to the track about 10 seconds after the whistle blew. i dont care if andre shoved him or not, he was defending himself from ooltewahs cheapshots. and also, after the last kneel down, another THUG from ooltewah ran through and knocked down zack allen, also about 5 seconds after he kneeled it. MARSHALL CANT HOLD ANDRE'S JOCK. END OF DISCUSSION. FARRAGUT 1ST IN REGION 2-5A. MAYBE OOLTEWAH SHOULD STOP LETTING THUGS PLAY AND THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY BE DECENT...AND THEY SHOULD ALSO GET RID OF ALL THOSE darn FLAGS.

 

You are completely and absolutely INSANE!!..,..if you believe want you just wrote,it never happened that way,go back and read my post again..,..I didn't defend our guys at all,but sterling is just as bad at running his punk mouth,just like alot of kids do these days,just like you just did!! the game is over,farragut won,good game..you need to get a life and make sure your student body learns how to act..,..they walked over to our side w/ the band,and started talking stuff,taunting our fans,and one little guy started flexing what he thought were muscles like the hulk,screaming "get you some",then some little guy ran out of the group and squirted a whole bottle of water or something at our fans then,when he turned around a cop promptly escorted he to gate w/ some other policemen..,..and by the way,I beleive,he was lucky for the cop being there,cause he hit the best wrestler in the south. So every school as young,dumb inmature kids,so lay off and let's talk football.

Yes, # 24 Garrison Caldwell was among the seven students charged on Friday. He and the running back Brian Marshall were described by the Walker County sheriff as the "ringleaders and instigators" of the whole incident. Caldwell had been suspended from the team earlier in the week on something unrelated to all this.

 

I want to point out two things. The Walker County Sheriff is not some publicity seeking nut. He is well respected, and has been in office for many years. Two of his citizens suffered serious injuries in a gang-style attack, and he sought justice. I'm sure if it happened to someone in your family, you would appreciate the efforts of him and his department.

 

Also, to those who want to sweep this under the rug "because it's not related to the game," grow up. The actions of high school football players (especially if they're wearing their team jerseys) off the field, and in the community are a direct reflection on their school. And if no one has taught them that, then the adults in charge should be ashamed.

 

I'm sick of certain Ooltewah High school administrators, coaches, teachers and boosters blaming the Sheriff, Ridgeland fans, and the media for all of Ooltewah's troubles. They wanted all of this to be covered up and hushed up, but fortunately, justice has been done and that did not happen. Hopefully they finally learn from all this and start focusing their attention where it belongs...in their own house.

 

No one is saying that Ooltewah has 2000 bad students. The huge majority of them are great. But the school's leadership and athletic program should finally acknowledge that they have a number of problem students, including some star athletes, and then deal with them appropriately.

 

The offending thugs should be dismissed from the football team, and given some serious discipline. The fact they're still allowed to wear Ooltewah's uniform is an embarassment.

 

The school should make a strong statement: start with a clean slate and make every effort to regain their good reputation.

 

 

Coach Monroe should be ashamed of himself for letting any player dress and play for his team that has been charged in this mess. They should have been suspended as soon as it was known that they were involved. It looks like it is more important to beat William Blount and Farragut that to take care of a problem that will only get worse.

 

I would bet my house had this happened to any players at Maryville High School, they would have been removed from the team, and it would have happened BEFORE we were scheduled to play two or three big games. If your coach can't deal with this, then he should be fired by the AD or the principle.

 

Things like this is what is wrong with college sports and there is no room for it in High School.

honestly you shouldnt talk about u beating a team that we lost to in overtime, i believe you guys were shut out 32-0 by william blount and if i stand correct farragut beat them....so i think that the admirals outweigh you in that category...and in response to the whole scuffle on the sideline i think it was obvious that about five ooltewah players hit sterling on to the concrete then just kept goin and got in his face...i mean did the players that hit him really have to run out onto the track too...sterling is an excellent football player whos gonna go somewhere im tired of you people trying to bring him down just b/c u lost it was the same with wb and their whole situation...and i havnt seen sterling going around town beating up kids...hes a good kid let him be

 

 

 

No one is bringing him down... Everyone knows he is a great athlete... If you actually think Marshall is a thug then you really don't know the kid. He has never been in trouble with the administration or coaches. He has never been in trouble with the law until this incident... He did make a mistake and should be punished for it, but he is not a thug at all. He didn't hit anyone or kick anyone....

Andre had 31 carries for 200 yards and Marshall had 17 carries for 176. Ooltewah had more total yards than Farragut but the interception and kick off return killed the Owls. There are way to many immature people on here talking non-sense from both teams. This isn't a bashing board.... Please grow up and learn to post with respect..

 

I guess you guys should also lose respect for the Ooltewah administration and H. County school officials for allowing these kids to play. Obviously if they thought this situation was serious enough to throw these young men off the team or not let them play then they would of. Ooltewah's administration has been known as some of the best in Chattanooga and even the state. Mr. Foster has been a principal for more than 20+ years and knows what he is doing. He is also the head of TSSAA board. Not everyone knows the situation and are jumping to conclusions that the whole team beat up a 19 year old man and his sister when it was 1 football player and a student who actually did. You guys don't know how the situation went down. You don't know if the 19 year old was provoking anything when the Ooltewah kids were leaving. You don't know how serious the confrontation with the players and the Ridgeland adminstration were. Why didn't school officials escort the Ooltewah players out if they were that much of a problem? I'm not saying what they did wasn't wrong but I don't want everyone who doesn't know the whole story to jump on here and say filth about the administration, community, team, coaches and players.

it didnt come out until the 6 o clock news and guess what he was already gone so if they WALKER CTY sheriffs dept. wanted him they shouldve came and got him, its not his fault the sheriff dept waits till the last minute to come up with some frivoulis charges, they had almost a month and finally dug far enuf into the books to come up with some petty charges

His name is Jazquez Smith. He is just a sophmore and has been that size since the 8th grade. Freak of nature. Should be D1 prospect in 2 years...
