Wilson beat Riverdale and Lebanon won over Greenbrier. Loretto won over Lincoln Co and Columbia won over BA.

Siegel High School, after getting numerous players back their Basketball legs, will open their season with Lincoln County on Thursday night the 15th. While losing three seniors, two to Montevello U and one to Rhone State, the Stars return 3 Seniors this year in Mo Faulkner, Claire Waggoner and Allison Wright.

Ill have to be honest, I have no clue what to expect from Oakland going into the season. Obviously Sara King will be the go to player, but Roper, McGowan and Randolph, among others, are going to have to step up for this year to be a success. With only 10 girls on the roster, its going to be crucial to stay healthy, but it is a pretty experienced group, whether that translates into a better season this year who knows, but it should be fun to watch.

Cookeville wins over York by about 6. Game in the 40's. How did Cookeville look?

I watched Oakland scrimmage yesterday. One thing I noticed was that they hustle all the time. That will serve them well as they go throughout the season.
