I still say if it's a kicker you're looking for Station Camp's Christian Reed already has 2 game winning kicks this season. The first was on CSS vs. Hendersonville and the last was for first place in the region vs. White House. With the game on the line this is who needs to be booting the ball. Let's not forget he has the best longsnapper, Houston Anderson, best holder, Mathew Johnson, and the best line blocking!

Here is your chance to have input on who the nominees will be for 2007. A lot of media will view this thread but they are looking for assistance as to who to vote for, not who NOT to vote for. In other words, criticism on this thread will carry no weight so please don't bother.

TSSAA:

Forty-five outstanding individuals and their schools are to be recognized along with their parents and coaches at the prestigious Mr. Football Luncheon, scheduled Monday, December 3 for the first time at the Nashville Airport Marriott.

This group is to include three finalists for Mr. Football Lineman of the Year and three finalists for Mr. Football Back of the Year in each classification. There will be three finalists, regardless of classification, for the Mr. Football Kicker of the Year award. They are to be selected via a vote of football coaches and selected members of the media. The winners of the coveted award are to receive the distinguished Mr. Football trophy with the others finalists being presented plaques.

Each of the designated media outlets, of which you are one, is asked to submit the name of up to three players in each classification for the Mr. Football Lineman of the Year Award and the Mr. Football Back of the Year Award. You are also asked to submit three players, regardless of classification, for the Mr. Football Kicker of the Year award. It is not necessary to vote for three players in each category, but that is your option. If you feel an individual player is one of the top three players in both categories, then you may list him in both.

Please keep in mind that Division II is now in two classes (A and AA). Some schools may be in different classes compared to years past, so please be aware of those possible changes when you vote.

In order for your ballot to be counted, it must be received in our office via mail or fax no later than TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30. Please help honor Tennessee's finest by responding today.

3A McMinn Central Ryan The Attack Slack

What ?? 3A player of the year?? Ryan is a good football player but hes not the player of the year . T-Mo from Meigs are #22 from Howard are better. This is a team sport and Slack is

a very important part not the most important part of a team sport.
