Shew, this game should be a very good one. Grace's offense is explosive. They have 2 WR's that quick, fast, and stand about 6'5" or 6'6". They gave Hampton a fit. They run a lot of different formations and a lot movement before the snap. I give a big edge in offense to Grace in this matchup. But I have to give an edge on defense to Cloudland. Grace hasn't seemed to stop anybody this year. So it should be a great game...

I can agree to disagree. I don't think we've seen the full potential of the Cloudland offense. Last week they turned the ball over way too many times. If you take away the turnovers, its easily a 42-14 ball game. Last night was more of the same thing. We are at least 3 touchdowns better than the Creek, but turnovers slowed us way down. If we play mistake free football, we will win this game. The Landers can run the football with precision. Coach Turbyfill has definitely made the right calls. He's not trying to power over anybody. They are keeping defenses honest by using more of an option attack out of the spread. The traps and fakes have been very effective this year. Eventually, we will be able to throw the football even more. Its a good offense. I don't think Grace will be able to stop it. If we can get some key stops and not turn the ball over, Cloudland should win by a couple TD's. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Vader I agree about their recievers. They present a matchup problem for us on the outside. I came and watched them play Hampton. They are a good team although the dogs made them look a little better than they are the 1st 3 quarters. It is an interesting game. Can they keep us contained on the ground? Can we stop them from throwing those jump balls to their 2 HUGE recievers? That's why we play the game. Should be a fun one to watch.

I agree with Longhair. Grace has perfected their offense and their defense is getting better. It should be a great game but I say Grace will win by 2 TDs. GO RAMS!

I'd say Cloudland will be fired up come Thrusday night, They want this game badly and I'm sure they think they have a shot at beating Hampton and winning the region. This is a huge game ,either way it goes, the winning team will most likely have a home playoff game. I'm really looking forward to this one.

    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
    • Going to grundle Troy Fleming?
    • I agree I don't think it will go to trial either, but I feel like that will be because no judge would deem this to warrant a law suit... If the school board settles, they loose and all coaches and schools loose too.
