No, that is not right. I was talking with Nanney and Harrison last night and they figured out that Westview was scored on at least twice in the 2nd Half. Camden scored 6 and Trenton scored 7 on the JV. Also, no one on this team team cares about offense, defense, or special teams. fam. It's a team.

I believe Henry County scored their one touchdown on the opening drive of the 2nd half too.

I wished you could be here too for the game,if you are overseas protecting us(Milan & Westview Fans alike) from harms way, I hope that someone will post you a quarter by quarter play. I pray for your safe return to see another great H.S. football game!

I don't know lol that was an extremely good game to watch both teams were bringing the wood. But it could be depending on whose side your on. If milan's win they'll say it was the best game, and if Westveiw Win's they'll say it was the best game. Should be a heck of a matchup though. Whose defense has given up the fewest points?

Milan's defense has allowed less points (only by a point or maybe two), but Westview has scored more points against their oppenents. This is the game of the season. Two great teams playing each other both with great speed, strength, and determination. Their is expected to be one of the biggest crowds there. Milan has allowed about 1/2 a point less per game than WV, WV has scored about 100 points more than Milan on the season.

You may be right...I was at that game and for the life of me I am not sure, but it seems like after halftime they came out and scored and I thought oh heck they are gonna come back and get us but our defense held us. Does anyone remember for sure???

You are right. We all were a little worried when HC marched down the field after taking the 2nd half kickoff and scored. Guess it mad the defense mad as that was all they got that night.

There is no debate on which game is bigger or more important, because this is the game that is that is being played Friday night. Second this is Milan and Westview/Region 8 championship. Both teams have had to battle through region 8 this year. Westview and Milan doesnt have the luxury of playing Stewart County, Waverly, Adamsville, and Riverside. One can see how easy it is for Camden to get up for games like Westview and Milan. Camden hasnt had a game all year that they have had to expend all their emotion into that they have actually won . Try playing at JCS, Trenton, at Henry County, and then go to Camden. All which are spread teams that could care less about running the football, then turn on the switch to play a Wing T team that is very proficient an running the football. Its just different over in Region 8. Milan and Westview is much bigger than playing Camden. It just means alot more to both sides. The excuses that Camden fans make, well thats OK. 3-0 agianst the lions thats all Westview has to say. Camden needs to quit worrying about Region 8 and worry about Waverly, and there future playoff opponents down the road. For example CPA, Goodpasture, those teams are definately not Riverside or Adamsville. Good luck to Westview and I hope that there is a injury free game played on both sides Friday night. Since you're such an authority on Westview, I'm surprised you don't remember that it was Legens who broke the 50+ yard run out running all those fast Lions and scoring the winning td to beat Camden. It's almost humorous to hear so many people have so many lame excuses about why they lost to Westview. So you lost your qb with an injury. That happens in football. Do you know anything about Westview's injury situation for the Camden game? I suspect the answer to that is,no. How do you know how fast any of the Westview players are? You ever put a clock on any of them or do just have some supernatural ability to sit in the stands with a hotdog in your mouth and a cushion under your butt and sense their speed? Besides this is a Milan/Westview discussion. Go back over to the Camden/Waverly thread and discuss your big game with the winless Waverly Tigers instead of criticizing people about which you know nothing.

 

Great post 48 chevy, it is a good thing that the players play the game and not fans. Ctownfootball has no clue I guess that Westviews second string QB put not one but two scores on Camden. I guess he also forgot the part of the game when Westview intercepted theyre first string QB. Ctownfootball also has no clue what injuries that Westview had to deal with on their sideline. I am also glad to realize that not only Ctown is God but a heck of scout, because he seems to know who is faster and what all of these mentioned kids speed precisely is.
