I am not backlash. I am not sure who he is. I have never mentioned either playing for or having a son that plays for GHS. I have also not talked down about any of the coaches or the program.

 

With that said, can someone give me some information about the Cumberland Gap coach? What is his name (Full Name Fist and Last)? When did he coach at CG? Did he also coach in Kentucky somewhere? I would be more than glad to research him and attempt to contact him.

QBdad, I don't understand where she got that from.........sorry. I've been out of town for a few days. It appears to be quiet around here for the most part. I have heard that Gibbs is having a good response, about 9 apps. I have not seen or heard any names. Does anyone know if the guy from CG applied? To me he looks like a good replacement. I hope I didn't offend anyone by saying that....OH!..I almost forgot how does he look, to some that is very important.

I would say what I think we need to have as a coach, but that would mean my son can't play, he is lame and I'm gay, but I do know one thing, I am no stink up or brown noser. I hope the administration picks someone who can turn it around.

Sean Jessie is his name. He is 30 years old. He is currently at CG (is the oc there right now), he did not coach in ky, that would be the head coach, who was the oc last year. He started here in 05 as the rb coach. He was appointed the oc this past season and i think he worked real close with the oc last year. I know he has definitely applied for the job and is definitely very interested in it. I spoke to him the other day before he left for the state games. He said that if he was given the opportunity, he felt he could for sure make a difference down there. I'm tellin ya, the guy has got somethin about him!! Darn! Way to young. I prefer handsome coaches that are more my age like Carroll, Edmonds, Davis, and Wright

QBDad, if you get in touch with Coach Jessie, definitely let us know!! I think you would feel the same as I after talking to him. Very humble guy. When I made the trip to watch their county rival game and spoke with him afterwards, I could tell right off this guy needed to be moving up the coaching ladder. I'm not sure what the situation with his school is, as far as when the HC position would be open there, but the Gibbs position looks to be open at the right time for him to make his move up. Seems several people on here are looking more into him and giving the thumbs up. Its hard to find out alot about him since he's not a coach here in Knox County. Does anyone know when Gibbs is going to start the interview process? I hope everyone gets a fair assessment, but I hope even more they dont screw this decision up. It could cost them another 30 years they cant get back!!

They probably will not start interviewing until after Christmas break, probably second week of January. As for Coach Jessie, all I have at this time is that he started teaching in 1999, and he is a PE teacher. I do have a phone number for him, and I will attempt to contact him maybe sometime this week without being too forward. I was trying to find out where he went to high school and college. Does anyone have that information.

You are a sick person. I bet you don't even know them.....How old is coach Wright?

 

Coach Jessie has my vote. Look at the numbers they put up on offense............now that's handsome!

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
