I posted this on a previous Oakland thread so only fitting I do so here as well.

The pats have a pretty good group of returning seniors in Deandre Maupins, D'juan Epps, and Kendall Harding. How do you think these three and others on the team will help Oakland this season??

Having those Senior starters will help alot, but for Oakland to keep up with recent history, they will need some good contributions from all the underclassmen they are playing, they do not neccessarily need a big contribution by 1 or 2 of them, but rather contributions here and there for all. I think Demario King will become a fan favorite, he's a scrapper and has a good knack for the ball. Hockenberry needs to be solid at the point for Oakland when given a chance, were a little green in that area. The defense is obviously going to be there, but the question will be can Oakland put up enough points consistently to be successful, with a solid 1-2 punch in Epps and Harding, as well as Dre leaving the fast break, it will sure be interesting to see if they do.

Oakland lost any scrimmages yet this season? Who have they beaten? Thanks.

I have only been at 2, and those were the ones at the Shelbyville Playday, where they beat Farragut and Bearden, they played ok at the playday I suppose, but they did win those scrimmages w/out DeAndre Maupins, so maybe a good sign, maybe not, I really have no clue how good this team will be.

I think the word has been jumpers knee. From what I saw tonight, I think it is one of those instances where he would play/start if it was the regular season already. He played a little bit tonight and seemed to be able to cut pretty good, but it seems the injury obviously has affected his vertical, but it is not some big injury, I expect him to get some pretty good minutes thursday night.
