I have been told that four senior football players have decided not to wrestle their senior year for MBA and others may follow. What's the deal or did they just want to go out on top with a state football championship?

The MBA wrestling program never seems to meet expectations. Other than the Simpson boys, they have few state champs. The football coaches, whether it's McGugin/Rutledge/Bowers, can turn the MBA athletes in state champs. The wrestling program seems to always come up short.

respectfully disagree with you boomer5. I think Brentwood will win the following 2 years. This years team is going to improve dramatically over the next 2 years. With only 2 seniors, the Bruins future will be bright. The Bruins were also missing 2 starters from the line up so the score could have been worse.

How much worse could it have been. What weight class would they have wrestled. Were they in a spot that Brentwood already won. There were a lot of pins on your side so I don't see Brentwood scoring more point.
