I'll start, but don't hold me to anything. I think the district is wide open this year. It'll probably come down to pitching.

Sycamore

Montgomery Central

Creekwood

Harpeth

Stewart Co.

Fairview

Cheatham

Waverly

As far as Harpeth goes, they graduated 11 last year, 6 signed scholarships. Reloading is a tall order, but they've got some talent left. Andy Brown is the best hitter in the district, Ben Howell, Joseph Mangrum and Drew Johnson have pitched at the varsity level. Tyler Carruthers is coming along. Lathan Turner will be a solid bat I think. There's 12 upperclassmen. Some young guys are going to get some playing time this year. Middle of the pack seems about right to me. I don't think anybody is loaded with pitching.

there will be alot of ???? this year for the whole district. cw's question mark is our pitchin. we lost our top 3 pitchers from last year. also our 2-5 holes in the lineup. we have five seniors who will contribute for us this year. also we will have juniors step up this year all around our field. should be a tuff district this year.

i think harpeth will fall from last year but i dont know if it will be that much...

true , but they have unproven pitchers.. not one started last year in district to my knowledge they have to find pitching , hitters that will have to protect the brown kid !?! , and defense that will have to step up for tha loss of run production.. yes, they will compete.. but they wont have that imtimidation factor they had in the district tha pass few years.. they will find a away to win cause every team will get there breaks,, its a long season .. if jesus had a brother his name would be brett favre... lol ... clam chowder is betta with a lil CHEESE

I hope it's a little more middle of the pack than that.

Andy Brown was an every day starter. Joseph Mangrum played quite a bit at third. Mangrum, Ben Howell and Drew Johnson all saw some time on the mound.

Gotta find a new catcher, 2nd baseman, shortstop and replace the entire outfield plus find some more arms. There's 5 seniors, 5 juniors, 2 sophomores and 10 or so freshmen. There will have to be some freshmen contributing this year, no question. Not going to replace strength for strength but my guess is the outfield speed will be improved this year.

Straightbill hasn't posted in awhile. I think they're getting ready to get cranked up too.

Montgomery Central lost a lot of people from last year but i believe should be better then sum people think. we lost a lot of seniors last year 9 to be exact. One thing that will decide our season is our pitching. we lost alot of depth at pitcher but still have 2 or 3 guys that have seen varsity time in the past but other that that people have to step up. Even though we have lost a bunch of seniors we still have a bunch of guys that can step rite in a play. We also still have bout 4 positions that were filled by underclassmen from last year. should be a fun year.

I believe Brown played left when Chris Hale wasn't pitching and 1st when he did pitch.
