I saw where Harpeth beat Waverly last night 2-1.

yes i saw this too which is really gonna make the first 3 spots very tight. a number of things could happen now. the big games will be sycamore vs. harpeth. if sycamore wins one they clinch assuming they win their other games. if they win both this could bump cw up to the two spot. if waverly beats sycamore twice then wavo gets the one seed. this will be very interesting. is that wavo's second game vs. harpeth???

creek wood @ cheatham tonight at 5

The first Harpeth/Waverly game was a gem. A pitcher's duel with good defense for the most part.

Ben Howell pitched all 10 innings faced 35 batters, giving up 5 hits, striking out 2, walking one and hitting one. Ben finally got a good game from his defense and had 6 3 up, 3 down innings including the last 4. Harpeth left 11 runners on base on the other hand, including loaded bases twice.

Purcell went 7 innings giving up 5 hits, striking out 10, walking 5 and hitting two. #22 relieved and took the loss for Waverly going the final 3, giving up 2 hits, striking out 4, walking one and hitting one.

In the second game, Drew Johnson took the loss for Harpeth on a night where he didn't have his best stuff. His fastball left him a few innings as did the same defense more or less that had played so well the game before. Johnson gave up 6 runs, 3 earned in 4 1/3 on 3 hits, 6 strikeouts and 7 walks. Turner relieved and gave up 4 runs, one earned on 3 hits with one walk and one hit batter. Harpeth committed 4 fielding errors.

Baggett got the win for Waverly giving up 2 runs in the first inning before shutting the door. He gave up 3 hits, struck out 7, walked 2 and hit 2. A very well pitched game.

I am taking it the hefty lefty was not on the mound for Stewart today.

He was on the mound tuesday and sycamore scored three off of him in the first inning. Then in the second inning he came out or the game because sycamore was absolutely rockin him off the mound. It was 12-0 just in the second inning. Final score ended at 16-2.
