I know West started a freshman last year and he had a good year...cannot remember his name though.

 

Also Oak Ridge started 3 freshmen and I believe either Powell or Clinton started a freshman or two.

 

Cambell County has Blake Potter who is a very good player.

Karns have a couple pitchers...but so does Halls, Powell and Oak Ridge.

The baseball season cranks up on Monday so lets keep abreast with how teams are doing in their pre season scrimmages. Each team should have a feel what their strengths and weakness are. There are some kids that might be a hugh suprise on how they improved over the winter.

Heard tonight that Central lost a starting player for a problem at school today. I hate things like this for all of the other players that work so hard. Hope it is not true.

Halls has alot of talent. Alot of their players have played together for years and they should dominate this district. Karns will be good too. I see Clinton down on the bottom with Campbell County due to the fact that their is zero talent at either school.

yeah Central lost some key players on friday. im not mentioning names because i played at central last year and i know the guys personally. im not gonna give names but i will mention it was 3 starters. Central has some good raw talent in the ranks. I mean by raw that they could be good if they worked hard and realized they had it. Pitching wise Central has a very good lefty-Kevin Greene. He throws very awkward but its effective in that batters pick up the ball very late. He also can hit 84-85. Another good one is the guy who played next to me in centerfield last year, Wyl Mcmillan. He is one of the guys who could be good if he knew he had the talent to compete at the high school level. I thought I would give some Central news. Holla at yall
