They have a ton of experience and talent coming back. They will be fine. They have the talent to compete for a region championship. Whoever gets the job has walked into a very good situation. 8 starters returning to both sides of the ball and the reigning offensive MVP of the region in the backfield. They should have an outstanding year.

what about after next year though? a coach may not like losing all his starters and starting over.

I think Matt Daniel would be a great choice for head coach. He is currently an assistant there, so he knows the players and has there respect. He is a great X and O guy and has already been running the system that has been in place. I think they're making a mistake if they don't give him a shot.LOL, my spell check is off today!

What happened to coach Barger? Did he go to another school? I think this makes a big difference in how good Cannon Co. would be this season. He is a big part in the little bit of success that Cannon Co. football has enjoyed as of late.

Coach Barger went to Sequatchie Co. to become their head coach. I'm sure he'll do a good job there as he did at Cannon.

I don??™t think that would be a wise career move on Britton??™s part. If he were to fail at CC then that would really make his head coaching record look bad and that may hurt him in future jobs. Although Abner got the job at Cane Ridge with an embarrassing coaching career record.
