Temple vs. Union City 1st Game of 2008 State Tournament!

They have six players with at least 35 three pointers made and one with 28....

 

They hit a season high of 20 in their sectional match-up with Middleton....

You folks based your opinion on one game played by MJ....One in which he did score 19 points....See him play over a 100 games and maybe you can speak with any knowledge...MJ doesn't have to do it by himself either...Jeremy does...Temple is a one man band and that's why they are in Chattanooga right now....

 

Sexton is a very good player but the three finalists are the ones that should be finalists...Sexton will be mentioned next year but Buckner will probably win it.....

If Temple is a one man band, then why couldn't UC stop him. I would think you would at least hold him to, say, 19 points? But no, the one man show scored his second highest career number of points on who? Hmmm....

 

We based our opinion on having seen Jeremy play since he was in ninth grade. Jeremy did what he always does, in every game. Normally, there are other players who step up and score more than they did on Wednesday, but not much more. James Kemp is normally in double digits but I think he was scared?

Buckner can't win the award unless he becomes a guard and gets to shoot the ball, or gets a coach that believes in actually passing the ball inside. I looked up and he had the big fella outside just passing the ball around.

Sexton is a player. He was the only player I saw on the floor for Temple.

Union will have to shhot the ball a lot better than what they did on Wednesday. Their best offensive play was shootin an airball out of bounds and then jumping in the press to get it back.
