Gosh, you all never let anything go.

People quit talking about this like 4 or 5 pages ago. And nobody cared anymore, but now every DB fan this side of the Mississippi brings it back up, and all I get to hear about on the South thread is Chris. I don't care about Chris!(no disrespect, I still wish him luck) I don't care if he was held back or not! If I'm on the South thread I want to talk about South, not Chris.

Ok?

The conversation about him is over. So how about we keep it that way?

Or should I just start talking about all of South's players on the DB thread(s)? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Agree, problem is, when something like that is brought up and it is seen by someone long after most have read and debated it it, they are going to say something because it is a new topic to them and one that hits a nerve. Topics like that should be avoided.

Yeah, I got a phone call. You know I stir the pot every now and then but there's a line real men don't cross. I really feel for Coach H. I would like to know what's being done. I'm sure HJ's phone is ringing off the wall. MC, where are you when we need you. No blame to Miss. H but MC would never have let that go public. Sometimes you just gotta do things the good-ole-boy way.

I hope you and everyone will learn the facts before you go off on 100 tangents. Even MC couldn't keep this quite.

It is a pathetic case of crap, I'll tell you that. Coach H will be missed.

Most of these guys are just upset because they just got spanked yesterday and the reality that the road to Murphysboro has a permanent roadblock in Maryville after this year is just now setting in!!! They have to take their frustrations out on somebody…and since they don’t play you guys this year and there’s no chance they would have to eat some Crow, they choose you. You don’t hear ANY of them on the DB vs Maryville scrimmage thread. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Now that is comedy. See the thread, plenty of DB posters. Read the article on tricitiessports, game was closer then you think. Two fumbles, one at the goaline. Two TD's called back. DB moved the ball.

 

 

1) It's just a scrimmage.

 

2) A game is NEVER closer than you think. The score is what it is. If "if's and but's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas!".

I know exactly what happened and you are correct, there was no keeping this quiet. The fact is one or two bad apples can spoil the whole bunch. I only pray that D-B gets another transfer out of this whole mess!

Your wrong a game can be closer than you think and i am not sayin the scoreboard isnt right in the end sometimes things just dont go one teams way

 

and i dont believe if and buts were in that statement, that looks like a south education to me

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
