Tuesday night Columbia Academy Lady dawgs 9 (2 goals by an 8th grader) Lawernceburg 1

BGA v Siegel scrimmage last night 1-1 tie.

 

The last two seasons BGA beat Siegel 4-0 and 4-1.

 

Siegel showed speed and good possession. One of the freshman scored and defense was able to contain S. Dennis except for the free kick which she scored on.

Farragut at Baylor

 

I was not at the game but from what I heard Farrugut brought 30+ players to Baylor. From what I understand each team's varsity squared off and they battled to a 1- 1 tie. Once the varsity players started to be pulled the person who reported the score to me left the match. He was under the assumption that each team then substituted liberally and then at some point it became a JV match up. Someone who was at the game surely has more details than I have reported here.

FRA vs. Hendersonville 8/12/08 7:00pm Nice night for soccer FRA won 2-0 in their best game to date. Kaitlen Smith and Morgan Crofford had goals. There are 4 to 5 Freshman who are really playing well.

I wouldn't quite phrase it that way, but Notre Dame did beat Knox Webb 10-0. ND had 6 different scorers, and generally kept the ball in front of Webb's goal all night. Webb only had 1 sub, and struggled to keep up, though they never did give up.
