Farragut vs Maryville scrimmage.

Sophomore kicker Zach Sharp is ranked in the top five kickers in the country for his class by at least two national publications. He's hit field goals from 60+ yards more than once this summer in camps. At one of the Nike camps, I think he hit like 80% of his kick-offs into the endzone. Not sure what went on over at Farragut, but trust me, he'll be ok this year for more than just PATS. I'm not sure if he'll even get to kick pat's ... the young man who kicked them last year is back and he didn't miss many. But Zach will be a bonafide weapon for the Rebels from 40 & in for sure and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't hit one or two from 50+ before he's through. Plust he'll give Maryville the luxury of taking alot of dangerous kick returners out of the picture with his ability to kick it into the endzone.

I didn't mean it to sound like I didn't trust the kid to kick more than just PATs. I just meant it in the respect that I hope that Maryville is making it into the endzone so often that they don't need to kick field goals. Haha. Also, the kid was kicking some pretty deep field goals at Farragut and so that somewhat contributed to it. The one that was wide had the distance and didn't miss by much.

If I am not mistaken Maryville's kicker is just a sophomore so he will have some growing pains, but he will come along. Hopefully they won't need him for much more than PATs. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Bustin usually does the PAT's and Sharp usually does the FG's and KO's.

Dane had a big bag of ice wrapped about halfway up his shin, so I don't think it is an ankle. I hope it is just a bruise as someone else mentioned and not a fracture.
