Has anyone been keeping up with the improved notre dame golf team. so far no one has touched them they are undefeated. Number one player, junior kyle wittler has a under par stroke adveradge followed by number two man richard powell (senior) who is around even par stroke adverage, and number three austin bingham(senior) is not far behind. And four and up are capable of shooting just as good. these guys are going to be unstoppable during the regular season. They have lost region two years in a row to the chargers off ccs which has a strong one man tyler hollister and two man blake davidson(both seniors) but do you think the chargers will pull it off this year with another upsett in region?

Yesterday ND shot 34-34-34-35 for a 137 total at Creeks Bend beating Soddy-Daisy by seven strokes. It's not often you see a team like SD shoot 144 and get beat let alone by seven. At home, Notre Dame is tough and it will be interesting to follow them on other courses. Impressive performance by both teams though.

137 wow. thats amazing. what classification are they in?

Notre Dame finished first in their district this week. With Austin Bingham a senior at Notre Dame tieing for 3rd but he got beat in a playoff on the second hole to price patrick, he knocked in a great birdie putt from about 12 feet. David Weeks from Notre Dame (freshman) tieing for 5th and also got beat by a Lee University signe Tyler Hollister on the 6th playoff hole. Notre Dame did not play near as well as they should be but pulled off district by 13.

This week is at region at Notre Dame's home course.

"Luck of the Irish" that the rotation fell on their home course this year. CCS is still considered the favorite with Blake Davidson and Tyler Hollister, but The Irish, hopefully, will knock that dang monkey off their back.

Go Irish
