logcabinman
Scouts don't come to watch JR's in football.. Could you please explain this statement? Why not?
TheOldScout
, maybe jackson but i'm betting his grades will hurt him. Watson...is not an SEC player...i think he can play D-1 but not sec...WHAT position will he play in college Jackson could have been but trouble outside of school will hurt him and maybe grades, the only way D1 teams would overlook his troubles off the field would be if he was absolutely incredible and a 5 star prospect. Watson is a good high school player but not D1 material he will probably end up at a small school like Slack. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
OldSchoolCharger
SEC schools at central for a football game...wow...but if they are coming it would have to be to see their kicker (what year is he)i heard JR and SR , maybe jackson but i'm betting his grades will hurt him. Ben stiles is a JR. not that good to be getting sec schools to come watch games as a JR. they may notice him but wouldn't just come watch a JR unless he was all american. But central has plenty of jrs to come and watch. not sure how many of them are SEC but a few should be D-1 Watson...is not an SEC player...i think he can play D-1 but not sec...WHAT position will he play in college Kyle long..well there are not may SEC lineman his size. 6'1 265 But all are good players but when your talking SEC you have to be very dominating in high school. Randal Cobb had a few offers and was very dominating at ALCOA. Jamin Godfrey is the kicker, only a Jr. and has only been kicking a football since spring practice. I know it kills some of you out there in cyber-land, but Central has more than one player that is going to get a "look" from college coaches. D-1 coaches from the SEC don't just show up as they are passing through a town to see prospects. And yes, they will come see juniors! Why do you think most of the SEC teams already have commits around 15 to 20 each for this years recruiting class? If you are a junior, you better be making the effort on friday nights, you never know who is watching!! If You Build It, They WILL Come!!! Aaron Douglas from Maryville commited as a JR but he was a 4 star recruit. If your a SR and not had any contacts from a D1 schools as a JR chances are your not going D1!!! jwcardin
I bet no one can guess who this scout is coming to watch. If you get it right I will let you know. Okay Wrecking Crew, I'm reading through this thread getting confused. I'm guessing Col. Mustard with a candlestick in the dining room. Wait wrong question. Solve the mystery and tell us who it is. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
87Cat
Everybody is going with Central players. But don't leave out Tommy Bunch from Meigs. I know there are several deserving Chargers. But Mr. Bunch could be the one to draw the attention.
getaclue
i knew that Jrs. could commit before they are SRs. but i didn't know scouts planned trips to see jrs. that are not even ranked or have any stars..not saying they do or don't but i think the most D-1 players at central are Jrs. anyway As far as the Bunch kid from meigs. what does he play. has to be a lineman. haven't heard of him. so i'm betting he is not a SEC player..if he was we would all know about him Dennis Rogan is in SEC....he dominated 3a football in tennessee... who from central is doing stuff like, Rogan, harrison smith, randall cobb, Brandon Warren did on the field...these are all small school east tennessee players that were ranked very high...
