Solomon
Thoughts from the game...... -Heritage looked about as unorganized in the 2nd half as I have ever seen a team. They only had 10 on the field for Maryville's final score and then the long snapper didn't know they were punting? What gives? -Maryville can't sleep walk through games. They are going to have to start out focused in the first half. -Maryville needs to work on the downfield passing game to make another December run. -That said - opposing coaches, please keep playing a Cover 3 against them as I'll take a 8-12 yard gain every play when you leave the flats wide open. Three games in a row I've seen it. -I really, really, really hate the wing-T.
REBELRON
This game was a tale of 2 halves. The 1st half Maryville sleptwalk. Heritage came out fired up and played Maryville toe to toe. In the 2nd half Maryville dominated. Chris Jordan was great in this game. Buddy Jones is getting better and better each game. Cody McCoy was awesome on defense.
MHS82
Well scoot 91 I like your spirit. Good for you believing in your team. I am sure your team will be up for the occasion but the second half will proove to much for Heritage and Maryville will run away with it. The streak lives on.....Here is praying for good clean game and no injuries. Good luck rest of the season though. Good call REDSOX! The second half was just too much for Heritage. Maryville has had to make adjustments after the first series of every game this year. The coaches have proven to have the right answers and the players have the abilty to adjust...even if it did take until half tonight it was still a good win. Hats off to Heritage...they are a much improved team. I am hoping to see them make the playoffs this year.
MHS82
Did anyone else notice the impressive performance of #2? Pretty impressive for a freshman!!!! I think we will continue to see more and more of West. He is going to be a lot of fun to watch over the next few years.
REBELRON
West will be Maryville's next D1 player. West is 6' 185lbs right now. With his work ethic I bet by his senior year he will be around 6'2 220lbs.
