Jackson County- RBS

Red Boiling comes into this game with a renewed sense of confidence and have played tough in two losses. Jackson County has been blown out in 2 straight games and knows their backs are against the wall. This could be a good one among teams not in a playoff hunt. Jackson County (1-2) must win to reach their goals for the season while Red Boiling Springs (0-2) could stop the state's longest losing streak on the road at one of their biggest rivals.

It should be closer than last year. Stay tuned.

Football teaches life lessons. It's not always about winning and losing. I watched SC play JC last year and this year.

Although JC was a huge underdog and the games out of hand early, they don't hang their heads and quit. They keep playing to the best of their ability. After the game, they shake hands, congratulate the SC players with theirs heads held high,THEN, join them in a group prayer...........If JC isn't the team with the most class that SC plays, they are near the top. The crowd on JC side was small.....I'vs seen more people at JC basketball games. I know JC is a basketball county....but the kids I saw on the field last night deserve the community support because they represent their community with class and diginity. From what I saw, it looks like the parents and coaches have more to be proud of than the number on the scoreboard.

Good luck to both teams this week.

If Jackson County plays or should I say lays down like they did this past friday, RBS could drop that streak. When I see players stop running in the middle of a play, when they had a line on the ball carrier. That is just rolling over!!! Now I wish more than anyone that JC could get there program back up but there was a better game of pick up in the endzone!!! Coach you can recruit inside your own school!!! RBS, get busy this week and you could do it!!! I'm all for both of these teams. Hope both of you atleast get a win this year!!!

forget getting kids inside the JC school system they need to scrap the coaches as well, the worst coached team in the region bar none. The Smith players knew exactly where they we're suppse to be and what to do when they got there JC kids can barely line down its pathetic how much basic knowledge is missing from this program. Hint to coaches lets teach the D-line how to pick up on release blocks for screens. PATHETIC!!

This could be a close one, I don't think it will be though. Jackson County wins this one going away. They were outmanned against SC and they knew it. This week will be a different story. No one wants to be the one to break RBS streak. Good luck to both teams though.

You are right Homer. Teams play harder against RBS than they do any other team because NOBODY wants to be the streak breaker. RBS should get their QB back this week, which could spell trouble for Jackson Co.

To say JC runs away with this is funny. Have you seen them play? The kids try hard but have no clue what their doing, I heard from Macon county people the RBS coach is pretty good this may be their streak breaker.

I've seen them both play and it may sound funny, but Jackson Co. runs away with it. That's just my opinion, for what it's worth. That's why they play the game and don't call ol' Homer for the final score /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I know their coach and he is a good guy but this is his first shot at the head spot. It would not be fair to make a judgement on whether or not he is a good coach yet. In fact it will never be fair to give him a negative judgement starting out his head coaching career at RBS. I have nothing against Jackson and predict they will win, but I hope RBS pulls this one out. If they don't, I still believe the streak will end this year at MJC.

    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
