I've heard that both Knox Catholic and Seymour will be moving from A/AA to AAA.

Not sure we'll know anything for sure till next month though.

Yes, those schools on the bubble of the cutoff between A/AA and AAA won't necessarily know yet, but the choose choosing to change between D1 and D2 (or vice versa).

Maybe this thread is a little premature....

Word is that District 5AAA and 6AAA will be combining into 1 District--9 Teams. Wow.

I've read that. Should make for an interesting district. but that doesn't leave alot of room to play other powerhouse teams like ND, GPS, CCS, Baylor, Rivedale, Farragut and some of the new up and coming teams like Silverdale, and that new private school, Signal Mountain. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

District 10 A/AA is a 10-team district. Coaches decided to split up into two divisions because playing 9 district games was already half of your regular season. Didn't leave a lot of chances for tournaments and competitive out-of-district games.

Hopefully the new classification doesn't cause this to happen around the state. It should definitely be the exception and not the rule.
