Is anybody from our region awake?

 

Greeneville go it handed to them this past week at the Smokey Mtn Duals going 3-6 overall with losses to Lafayette GA, Larue KY, Bob Jones AL, Greenback, Gibbs, & Carrolton GA and wins against Hughes OH, Pigeon Forge, & Halls. We have a whole lot of improving and maturing to do if we want to compete against SH & DB.

Science Hill will be traveling just outside of Charlotte, NC to complete in the Titan Duals at Hopewell High School on January 3rd.

Science Hill was Second at the Titan Challenge Duals in Huntersville, NC today.

Not too bad...Riverside is an exceptionally solid team...they definitely educated us as to our deficiencies.

Greeneville went to the Gibbs Invitational this weekend. We put five into the finals and had 4 chamions - Matt King - 1st, Chas Norton - 1st, Justin Myers - 1st, Hugo Sanchez - 2nd, and Jeremiah Sims - 1st. We also put two in the consolation finals - Conner Kelley - 3rd and KJ Bond - 4th.

 

Big congratulations to Chas Norton, Conner Kelley, and KJ Bond. They all placed in their first varsity tournament. Chas pinned in the finals for a big exclamation point.

 

Also, Morristown West placed fifth in the tournament with John Herold - 1st, Timmy Rippetoe - 1st, and Whitlaw - 3rd. That is all that I remember. John Herold was also the tournament's Most Valuable Wrestler.
