I love region 1 football. You have a bunch of small school teams that have a dream of winning state championships but in reality they would never make the playoffs in any other region. Then we have The Grace Christian Academy which is putting region 1 on the map. We are here to stay and we are here to play, the rest of the teams are here to pay.

 

I don't think too much of Cloudland because they got beat by the Blueberry Muffins.

I call Hampton and Cloudland the Heimlich teams of the East Tennessee Mountains. They choke in big games. I guess they have put region 1 on the map for choking.

What big games has GCA played that they didn't choke in. Ya'll are #1 on the choking list.

No, the philosophy I was referring to was your assertion that Cosby has more athletes than Grainger does...anyway do all you can to stop McBee, but he will find a way to get it done. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

 

Now will all you Grace fans stop the banter with Cosby fans...or at least take it elsewhere?

But I do disagree with you on the outcome of tonight's matchup. Last year against you guys was my son's first game ever. He was 8 days old. He was really upset, and now he's frothing at the mouth for revenge. Oh, no wait that's just milk. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> He really is counting on a W though.

Yes our teamed did go 9-2 two years ago. And i think this team as bad as i wanted say our team was the best. I think they can do better than we did. I havent got to watch them play but as far as the grace game goes yes i will be there wit my eagles one the side line. And grace will face the demon they underestimated run all over them.

      Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.

      What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.

      Athletics is just a piece. It can help them academically, socially and add confidence. I was still 17 when I finished my first quarter at UT. I was the last to get my driver's license. It's not always just for athletics.
