PUJO, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it,(if you know what I mean). Dogcatcher/T-Dog, may just be throwing you bone.

I was only kidding about the whole thing. I doubt the kid transfers and as far as I'm concerned' he should stay at Unaka. I don't even know the kid, but I hear he is a good baseball player, I think Unaka has the better Baseball program.

I have also heard he is a good baseball player and Unaka does have an excellant baseball program. His father told me that rumor has been around several years but he will finish out his senior year as a Ranger.

I seems as though old T Dog is trying to shop his kids again. TNLady this is nothing new from this bunch. For what it's worth, Happy, Cloudland, and E-Town have already turned them down. My guess is JC knows what kind of package this is and will avoid it all togther. The question is, why was Tim not working with your kicker?

I'm sure Hampton's fans would love an answer to that. Hampton needs a kicker and sources say that Eddie Olvera can do the job. Does any one know if this is true or not?

Common sense says Olvera was given a chance early in the year as well as several during the year. He is capable, but he is not ready. There are others that were capable too, but wasnt given as much a chance. My guess, he will be the future kicker, but he will have to get better, and with experience and practice he can succeed. On the issue of quarterback though, thats a different story. He is going to have to get a lot better.......

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
