They played mostly spread offense with no backfield and he either ran the ball or threw a short pass. He did the best he could. He was exhausted from running and ineffective throwing after the first half until the second team came in.

Besides the 2 fumbles and a missed screen pass in the 1st half Maryville's offense was awesome in the 1st half. Cleveland never stopped them. Quarles let off the gas in the 2nd half.

 

I am sure Cleveland missed that quarterback big time. I do know one thing. Cleveland had some great athletes. Terrell Parks and Tyler Robinson are the best players I have seen Maryville go against this year. Parks is quick as a hiccup. #2 was a stud also.

 

Defense played very well after that opening play.

I don't think Bldrunner would make it to the second half of the game after spending the first two quarters with Greyrider and David. He would spend the entire second half in the bathroom cleaning out his drawers.

Thanks BlueRaider , you guys were probably the most impressive 4th seed we've ever seen . Cleveland had several quality athletes , and it's a real shame that your QB was not able to play .
