Speaking of Aaron Douglas I just heard an interview with his Idiot father & i think that he is really PEPVOL.

Which surprised me because I did not picture PEPVOL as an athlete. I did picture him as a stat geek who has never walked on the field. I understasnd this David Douglas played at UT on the OL .

Yes, Douglas played at UT. He made his NFL debut with the Bengals in 1986. He also played for the Patriots. If I'm not mistaking, he was the first Rhea Countian to play in the NFL.

Looks more like 50-60% - but either way we'll probably see some rain. It would be hard to argue that Cleveland isn't the more athletic team this year, so a slower field might favor the rebels. But I don't necessarily think a wet field will affect the athletes on either side. I just hope our option game doesn't lead to ball control issues.

I don't believe a slower field will affect either team much. Cleveland a few weeks ago when they played Rhea in the rain seemed to be just as fast in the rain. I have feeling this game may come down to who holds on to the ball. Should be a good game.

As for the Douglas family, I'm proud that they went on to do great things with there football careers, and now Aaron is just following in Steve and his dad's footsteps. They are good football family and they are good people too.

Just because you are a Maryville fan now, I will call David and let him know about this post and ask him if he will agree to doing an interview with you. Mabey we can sell tickets to that interview and use the money to fix up the Skeeter.

That was good one Rebel9. I will admit it.

I would love to talk football with him, he does not intimidate me, (unless it is a pie eating contest) But he said he has forgotten more football than most people know. So he may just blow me out of the water in the discussion.

Even the UT fans are tired of the good ole boy network over there.

I know Aaron's father very well and he is far from an idiot. He is a super guy. Aaron is fortunate to have a wonderful family. It's easy to talk smack about someone you don't know isn't it?

It is easy when he is arrogant on the radio. He stated he has forgot more football than most people know, We can differ on this subject. Anyone can see that the UT program is in decline & needs a change. Even those of us who are not fans.

He is just a member of the good ole boy network.

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
