It really depends on a number of factors they need better play at the QB spot and some of the young lineman need to step up. They played all last season without probably the fastest player on the team and certainly the best athlete on the team who was MVP in the spring last year. He was out all season with an injury and I haven't heard if he will be back or not.

 

The schedule is tougher opening with Chattanooga Central (who I think was the last team to make the AA cutoff) and finishing on the road at McMinn Central.

 

I might feel and think diffrently following spring practice and again after the fall scrimmages but right now I think 6-8 wins would not be surprising and I really think they will and should be favored to win the new district 7-AA with the following teams.

 

Notre Dame = 4A

Grundy County = 3A

Bledsoe County = 3A

Chattanooga Christian = 3A

Spring Practice is around the second or third week of May i do believe

Spring starts May 11. We have worked well in the weightroom but there is always room for improvement. Numbers are good but don't know what we will have until 11th. I know the coaches are excited about the next season and are putting time in to get better.

Sounds good I have also heard there have been some changes with the middle school program and that things are looking up down there and they also have good numbers out.

Tim White is the new middle school head coach. I think he will work hard and work with the high school. To the previous post, the schedule is an unknown. To predict how we will do now means nothing. Our district has been shaken up and the two private schools are the unknown. Don't know what will "move in" with private schools. Our guys still need to work extremely hard in the weightroom and get themselves ready for the season. 6-5 is unacceptable. We must improve every year. No one wants to be mediocre.
