Loretto vs. Ezell

Anyone know anything about Loretto this year except they are really really mad at Ezell. Police Escort is a must i would think, but really whats their strong points and who should i watch for them. And please no "We are Goona Kill YOU, You have no chance " I just would like to know what their strengths are.

They have a hard nosed running back, good lefty QB and a tall wideout who is good.

Loretto always has good talent, their inherrent problem is always a lack of discipline. They have several good skill people back this year but as Ezell must know after last season (and I believe that was why the score was ran up) they are notorious for rough play, ie cheap shotting.

 

If their staff could ever get them out of the dark ages of discipline, they could be very successful.

I'll bet you two things have changed since last year...

 

1. Ezell will run the ball some and include a DIVE play.

 

2. Loretto will have a Nickle Package in their defensive scheme just for this game.

 

I'll also promise you there will be a lot of Loretto boys hitting hard this game!

Ya ive always heard they played kinda rough, and that will not change this year. Also, Ezell has always ran the ball alot and most of their passes are short almost like handoffs to people that can run.

 

They will play the nickel, but with Antoine Ownes in the back field i they do it very often Ezell will run that guy crazy.

I think you will find that (other than the fact that Loretto will, of course, do everything possible to win the game) Loretto will treat you with class and that there will be no problems of that kind. It should be a good night of high school football.

My brother is on team and he was having a press conference today at school.

 

And i agree with you CoachT almost everywhere i have been in TN to watch a game has been a great time. But i have also heard that loretto refused to trade film with Ezell. That was a little concerning cause that attitude is gonna carry over to the players as well.

I'm looking forward to the game friday night.Yea, last year we were all pretty upset about the score but im sure if i had the chance to break the record i would have too.Most of our attitudes have gotten alot better, but again there are some that will never change. Best of luck ezell but we will know what to exspect a bit more this year.

I think Ezell is going to find the road to the championship tougher this year. Last year they caught a lot of teams by surprise early and got a great run going but this year every team will be ready. Ezell may win it all again this year but I think they will really get tested along the way. Teams will be sky-high and the coaches will coach their best to beat Ezell.

Ezell will be very difficult for anyone to beat no matter what classification the other team is in. The problem is that no team in Tennessee runs the same type of offense that Ezell does with the spread and no huddle. The defense has to prepare for something that they see once a year and cannot duplicate with a scout team in practice. One blown coverage and Ezell can go all the way.
