Total self-destruction and lack of focus... now two turnovers on Ooltewah's side of the field. They had a good run - sad to see it end that way. You can't make those kind of mistakes when you're playing a team that is as good as you to begin with.

 

Well Oakland didn't score off that - but Oakland is going to have to throw some INTs or fumble if they're to get back int this game.

Well - now its over for sure. Who will Oakland play in the championship? Oakland should win just based on a great defense.

After the kickmoff owls start their drive on their own 28.

 

 

On first down no gain for the owls and on 2nd down keeling with the tackle on a 1yard gain by the owls qb. On 3rd and 9 the owls have an incomplete pass.

 

Owls punt to Nelson and he returns it to the owls 30.

Great job Oakland. I know it's not over, but they are doing a great job. I had a feeling that the winner of the Oakland/Smyrna game would make it to the Championship, but I didn't want to speak out of turn since I hadn't seen Ooltewah play this season. That game last week was the best defensive high school game I've seen in a while. Oakland made more plays and forced more mistakes from Smyrna, and it seems like they are doing it again tonight.
