Knox Catholic has 3 really good looking freshman who will develop into really special players Terrance Hall, Kyle Anders, and Chris Cox. They played at summer camp and did not look like freshman.

Joey Macourek from Powell is a really good player and should start as a Soph.

 

Blake Williams, soph should start at Farragut. I saw him drop 40 on Maryville and Bearden in freshman games last year. He also started on JV. Great offensive player.

blake mayberry sophmore guard milan high school- super fast and quick. very athletic. good shooter and defender. he plans on going to memphis university to play basketball.

The Asberry #44 and Stephens #12 and Williams #32 from York. All three were good last year they led the team in scoring and rebounds and they are working real hard to improve this off season. I look for those three to have a great season.

Your right that kid can flat out play. When I have seen him this summer he has impressed me more so then Lester. He seems more complete, almost as athletic, and seems to work harder on the court. Braylon Bennett has always been an good player.. Lester and Braylon led their middle school team to the championship game only to lose by 3 points .. It came down to Free Throws. But honestly, Braylon will be better then Lester by the time he's a senior. Many people in the Carter community stats that Braylon is more of a team player as thus Lester is more about Lester. Just give them time to jell as one team, they'll be hard to stop...

 

 

But I think Blake Golden incoming freshman at West High School will be one of the best players to leave the West High School basketball program. Honestly, I think Blake should've went else where but hey, maybe he can be the one who turns West into a powerhouse just like they were in the past.

My foster kid....well, actually the son of my foster kid..I guess that makes him my fostergrandkid...We will call him Cheech, for privacy sake.

 

10mo. old. He can chuck that little stuffed basketball from the chair in the corner of the living room, clear across the other side of the television. That is an NBA 3pt'er by comparison.

Crazy! Same here, except a girl. She is two, and man, she can ball it up for a 2 year old. Watch out. Pat-head, Geno, and crew are already calling.

Braylon is a good ballplayer. He doesn't have the athleticism that Lester has, but who does. He seems to be more of a team player. I don't know that he will be better than Lester, but the two together will make Carter competitive with any team in the area.

 

Golden is a solid player. I'm not sure how much more he will grow. He's only around 6 foot. He will need to develop his perimeter game to compete in HS. West is loaded with young talent this year and next and should compete for the district.

There is a kid from Sycamore High name Zach Gentry will be a soph pg/sg. Not sure of is futue though he is a very talented baseball player also at the catcher position

The two big post players from Creekwood (Dotson,Hyndman) will be special

this year.Both are 6'7" and really compliment the other well.Both will be seniors

but upside is still great.
