Rural Top 10

 

 

1 Liberty Tech. Magnet / 7-0

 

2 Humboldt / 8-0

Memphis Metro

 

1. Raleigh-Egypt / 9-1 /

Henry county lost to jcm. So they have one loss. And they beat westview so they should be ahead of westview.

no way obion co should be in top 10. I would have covington in their place and even. who have they played.... who have they beaten???? GC beat them by 10 at OC and haywood beat GC 25 and thats their only win this season so.....

Mine are no more than an educated guess based on what I think will be team success by the end of the regular season. Some teams ranked lower have beat the higher ranked teams, I didn't factor that in at all. In most cases I have what I think is the best teams ranked higher regardless of win/loss....I could easily flipflop some though. The bottom half of the 10 out of Memphis for me is really hard to guage at this point.

1. Liberty (maybe the best defense in th state)

2. Bolivar (watch out when Reaves finally gets back in the starting lineup, maybe it happend tonight)

3. Humboldt (Loaded and alot of size will dominats the district)

4. Dyer County (young but lot's of talent and great coach)

5. Lake County (some say they will split with Humboldt)

6. Jakson NS (one word Casey Prather)

7. JCM (some nights good some nights not so good, allways been that way for some reason)

8. Martin Westview (could be a sleeper in the district but I don't think so)

9. Henry County ( I have no idea except they did beat Martin Westview)

10. Obion Central/Union City (OC has a suprisingly nice team UC not sold on them but never doubt them either)

 

Memphis Area

 

1. Religh Egypt (same old same old)

2. Melrose (loaded)

3. Briarcrest (the big three are all seniors...right)

4. Manassas (could be higher but about right at this point)

5. Ridgeway (never doubt the road runners)

6. White Station (talent to be number 1 but somethings not clicking)

7. Craigmont (7 thru 10 is nothing more thatn an educated guess)

8. Kirby

9. BTW

10. Southwind

As usual BTW are winning a lot of games early..They still have 3 key players from last year who played a lot and now they are leading the team..

Its really early so it is hard to gauge. I didnt know Henry lost to JCM. Prior to last night after this topic was made GC only had two losses out of state. Memphis will make a little more sense after district play starts.

west tennessee

1. liberty (beat humboldt on play day from what i hear)

2. humboldt (huge and VERY athletic)

3.north side (Mr. Prather is a BEAST)

4.dyer county (fast and talented pg but i was told got drilled by north side this summer)

5.bolivar (dont know much bout them but heard the reaves kid was good)

6.jcm (very athletic and quick)

7.henry county (big and can shoot pretty well)

8.lake county (russel avery possibly mvp of 14a and a few guards that are lightning fast!)

9/10.westview/gibson county westview: (3 point shooting at all five spots with a VERY talented sg in jacob lloyd) gibson county: (new coach w/new philosophy. best post in district in masagna. ahead of oc because of win last night. possibly interchangeable w/westview bc gc lost to henry by 4 where as westview lost to them by i believe 11.)
