Who are the top Dunkers of all time in West Tenn?

If Shelby County is included I guess I would have to go with Michale Wilson. I never saw him play in highschool but saw him at the Pyramid. I saw Billy Smith play in college to....he could get up...didn't he play highschool in Memphis?

 

 

Billy Smith play for East High in Memphis, but, he wasn't even the best dunker on his team.

Some of the names that jump out for me are Marcus Hicks--NS, Julian Robinson--Obion Central, Tony Delk, Jeff King--JCM, Marious Transou--Denmark West, and a guy from Ripley that played in early 90's, and Marcus Williams--UC.

Cameron was a Mr Basketball I think. He went on to Tennessee Tech and last I heard was playing in Poland. I saw him dunk quite a bit in highschool.

 

How about Joe Jackson. That kid can get up. I wonder what his vertical is?

 

 

Cameron is now playing in Iran and making very good money. Ashley Champion is actually his teammate over there.

I played high school with Reggie. Wow. He could jump outta the gym. He was about 6'5" with probably a 44" vertical. Man was he fun to watch in practice. He never could do anything real fancy, but he would just jump so high and make it look so easy. I'm still jealous of his ability. LOL!

Michael Wilson might have the greatest vertical in history. They called him "chinese" in Memphis because they said he reminded them of somebody in a Bruce Lee movie jumping over houses. Sylvester Gray at Bolton was a rim wrecker also.
