Right, so when Stevens knew he was fired, I mean resigned, and told the Oak Ridger that all was well and the rumor was false then he was waiting for his 15 minutes of fame? I'll just wait for you to fill everyone in on whats REALLY happening.

guys like you like to act like you are in the know but, most times you don't have a clue,because if you knew you would post who it is so you could walk around for the 15 min. of fame you think you would have and bost about your uncanning knowledge of something that does not really matter in the grand scheme. OR will take longer than 2 weeks to make a desision, because the last hire was not even the one that the commity recommended. The done deal is people will continue to post about things they have no idea about hoping to get their 15 mins.

Huh? I've got to quit reading this while sober. I don't understand what this means. Anyone?

 

No need to attack a guys credibility as balleret did, but I sure don't see how Ole Dad can be that connected. If the decision has been made (job posting, applications, committee, Mullins, Carringer, Bailey, interviews, Christmas holiday....) so soon, it better be a BIG name.

My post a few days ago...

 

"Old Dad,

I have talked to former players, Coaches & parents who have had only good things to say about Ron Gray, I would say that he is the definition of a players coach. I understand he has turned down a job here & there. If that is his only negative then I am ok with that. I do not know him.

 

I have heard you mention that he stabs people in the back etc. What proof do you have? Who did he stab?

 

I thought Bruce left own his own accord, you have me curious now. I would like to know the truth because this next hire will have some high expectations & I want to know every candidate inside out.

Not attacking anyones creditbility, just statig a fact, most people on these forms have alot to say, just figured that if a guy kows that much he would post the name. and as far as the meaning, DON'T post about coaches that you don't know or that you have heard rumors about.

I understood your sentiments perfectly and for the most part agree. I just couldn't make heads or tails out his response.

From what I've heard they're just looking at applications. I assume they took the Christmas and New Years breaks off and will get the process going on Monday. They're not going to have a new HC next week or probably even the week after. Just a guess, but I think they'll hire someone by the 19th at the very earliest.

      Yeah they both should be good games whoever matches up with who. Wartburg has beaten Oliver Springs all 4 times they’ve played this year but they have been close games. I believe Wartburgs first sectional appearance was last year when they went to North Greene. Good luck to you all!

      What did they do this year? Every other year, I’ve gone to one. It’s been a little scrimmage and then a bunch of games like a quarterback throwing challenge, O line versus D line, push-up challenge, etc.    But not surprised, nothing new that the program has been on the decline since they lost their recruiting middle school coach. The baseball coach still does his fair share, but he recruits good baseball players. Not good football players, and decent baseball players, definitely nothing like the middle school coach could do, he left for a middle school job down near Cleveland high school a few years back.

      Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
