hvillefootball
Why would Crabtree leave Beech to go to DC?
wyattearp
Coach Bledsoe has been coaching for 40 years. Only 5 of which were at Dickson County High School. At one time he won 70 + games in a row at the junior high level. Word has it the only reason he lost that game was when Franklin used a sophomore kicker in a junior high game to win!!! He will be missed in Dickson County.
WhateverItTakes07
Several factors for Crabtree. I believe he still lives out in that area and commutes to Beech. He interviewed for the East Hickman job when it was first available. Also, I think he played at Dickson. He coached at Creekwood before he went to Beech. I am not saying he would apply or that he is unhappy at Beech. Just giving reasons as to why he may look at the opening, thats all not trying to start any rumors whatsoever. Lost Old Dad
How is the opening of the new HS in DC affecting this? BTW I for one am going to miss traveling to DC for the annual DC vs R'dale matchup. Good luck next season. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
ddaddy
Troy Williams would be a great choice. Coach Williams played on Dickson's state championship team, he??™s a longtime assistant coach at DC, had other coaching stops at Lewis County and David Lipscomb; most importantly he??™s a VERY high character person. 12NCS
Can someone from Dickson Co. explain to me why this job was not posted on the TSSAA website? Obviously, last year was a down year for the Cougars, is the talent there to be successful and is this a good job (community support, administrative support)?
