Miller Grove looked more impressive to me than Bearden did tonight, DB had a good game Ashlon Adams played well hopefully hes ok he left with a bag of ice on his foot

Miller Grove has a very good team from Georgia and will give anyone there a run. From Florida Boyd Anderson is very good, and Pace is always formidable as they will defend and be well-coached as will Dr. Krop. From what I saw at the City of Palms Briarcrest is one of the best defensive teams I have seen and are also very well-coached, so I don't really see a walk for anyone in this tourney. I was surprised to read the Tenn High beat Bryan Station. BS is one of the top 10 teams in Kenutcky.

Well you have to remember to the tournament is at TN High they got a few calls go there way to say the least i know off the top of my head when Bryan Station made a run in the fourth one of there guards drove in and about had his arm ripped off and there was no call and TN High went and shot a lay up.

Tennessee High has a task waiting for them on Monday. Miller Grove is a very good basketball team, and 'very good' is an understatement.

Stop being a hater. THS beats one of the top contenders to win this tournament and all you can say is the refs helped them win.

DB also has an uphill battle on their hands. With Sylvester not 100% and Ashlon with an injured ankle, the Indians could be in trouble having to play again so early.

Bryan Station coach did a TERRIBLE job of attacking Tennessee High's zone defense !!

Very true Cap, I'm hoping Sylvester's fall and Adams rolling of his ankle can be remedied with tape and suppot braces, though not likely. Halverson will also have to step his play up in the game against Benedictine tonight. We need all the help we can get, not to mention a little luck.

Briarcrest beat Bearden this summer without Leslie McDonald and Gregg Wooten. More like a lock for Briarcrest.

haha we will see i know bearden was missing a few players too if your talking about the summer tourney at ut... and bearden doesnt try unless they feel challenged, they just go through the motions, but that could be a big reason one of the teams sneaks up and gets them... i just think its hard to match up with a team (bearden) that has 5 starters over 6'5 and 4 of them r gonna play D1 if they really play hard.

I guess you don't keep up with Briarcrest to much. First off it was in Ole Miss. Briarcrest 3 D1 players probably 5 when 2 of the freshman become seniors. Leslie McDonald, Mr. Basketball, looked as the best player in the state besides maybe Reggie Buckner or Joe Jackson. And someones already said how they think Briarcrest is a tremendous defensive team.

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
