They are all fine coaches and a credit to their schools. But it would be a shame if Coach K did not get the job. He has earned it. Picking someone from the outside would be a slap in the face to those coaches, payed and non-payed assistants, who have worked so hard and won a State Championship.

Well Mr. Manual, we're waiting? Spring practice is supposed to begin Monday. Kids need to get physicals, cleats, parental approval forms, etc.

Actually all physicals gotten now would be void for next season. I believe the date to get physicals that are good through next year is June 1.

Physicals are scheduled for May 5th at the school for free I per the newsletter I just received. Players are in a lurch...worried about who their coach will be etc. Not very considerate and a poor lesson for students/atheletes.

What is the poor lesson? Due Diligence? If it's as big a hire as everyone on here makes it out to be, then he should take his time.
