Hamilton County Schools closed

I believe Hamilton county has a policy that says if you don't have school, you don't have games. Can't imagine they wouldn't play Friday night. Anyone know for sure?

yeah, that is what I have heard. They stand to loose some nice Friday night gates. Seems like they would think about making an exception. Maybe Scales (new superintendent) will handle it differently. It's a mess to re-schedule games but we will see what happens.

I believe that they are going to cancel all of them. I know for sure that Whitwell at Signal Mountain is cancelled.

It shouldn't be a set rule, often temperatures will rise to a reasonable number, ice and snow will melt by noon much less later in the day when teams leave for games.

Just heard that the games are back on. Scales has said since the reason schools were closed was because the cold weather this morning, he would let the games go on as scheduled.

Temple vs. Lookout Valley is still on at 6:30 and 8:00. Homecoming festicities start at 5:45 and the guys will play at 6:30 followed by the girls at 8:00 in Vance gym.
