Did you see Austin Anderson of Collierville. He got the W against Farragut, while Phifer got the L.

First of all it's Pfeifer. Second, he pitched bad and gave up 2 homeruns which were 4 of the 5 runs they scored, 2 pitches cost him a W. Third, he's the best young pitcher in the state. The bad part for collierville is that Farragut played horribly and lost 5-3. Farragut is still > than collierville. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Ben McKinney is extremely good i played with him this fall and he played with east cobb this summer. He signed with Georgia Tech and throws 92 93

yeah McKinney is really doing well. Daniel Norris from science hill and Kevin Connell from Boone are both really good pitchers. They both will make it far as pitchers. They will go pretty much anywhere they want to go in college and they will probably get drafted right out of high school. Norris hit 88 one time and Connell hit 89 one time the other night when they played at boone.

Collierville really did not have that good of a game either, being that 2 of the 3 runs scored by Farragut were unearned. Phifer /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> is a top-notch hurler and competitor, a true talent. Glad we got to see first hand what all the hype was about. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

one post causes a small uproar! hahah i love it! i'd rather Farragut lost anyways and still be ranked #9 on unapproved website, #5 in Baseball America ,and #5 in Collegiete Baseball, rather than win and be unranked. congrats to collierville on a tremendously unimportant victory in 3rd week of the season! go dragons! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

D-NO has hit a lot higher than 88

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
