I don't think that is why! Plus, the better rain chance is for Monday. Why would you move a series up to have an extra day for rain when that is the day it is supposed to rain. Fishy.

Chance of rain is the same for Monday and Tuesday. They saw this coming, so they moved it up a day in case it gets backed up a day or even two with bad weather. There are very few rainout dates available if they don't get it in by Thursday.

columbiaguy, your new name should be "conspiracy guy" with all your allegations and insinuations. You still that worried about the Shelbyville make-up game? The one game that's going to make or break your season. Yeah right. It's one game people. So what if it's for first place. If they take care of business this week, both will still get a bye in the tournament and, to be honest, they'll both be in the same boat. Anything can happen in the tournament and several teams could win it. Give me a break on all your "fishy" talk. It's silly.

Agreed. I don't mean to "stir the pot" with the Columbia-Shelbyville make-up game, but even if Cooper throws who's to say Columbia cannot beat him. Spring Hill beat him earlier this season. Besides if I were Columbia I would like the challenge. Seeing that type of pitcher before district tournament would be a big plus. The difference between a 1 or 2 seed in the tournament is small. Seeing a quality pitcher can only help, especially if Columbia were to make it to the Region tournament. Just a thought.

Just trying to have a little fun guys. Lighten up! I hope they throw Cooper Sunday. That we'll be the second time Columbia has seen him and they will be that much better for it if they see him a third time. I didn't realize you guys took this board so seriously.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
