Well DC will be at home where they put up a tough fight 59-54 last night to an Upperman team that beat LA 69-81. The DC boys are getting it together nearing the end of the season and I think it'll be a great game. Especially after what I saw last night.

With those scores, it would appear that DC should win by 7, right? Only thing is Upperman had what was probably their best game of the year(if not century) against LA, and LA had probably their worst! I think that game opened LA's eyes a bit and they are now ready to play some serious basketball. This could be a good game if LA isn't focused. If LA plays their game, they win by 12-15.

LA had their hickup against Upperman. That won't happen against DC. Team looks focased now. Dunn was not just looking to score last night, he was getting the rest of the team involved by making assists. That combination will very hard to beat. LA by at least 15!!!

Let's put it this way ... Livingston (with the exception of upperman at upperman game)..plays a style of basketball to where the opposing team is so flustered so upset off to a point which they dunno what to do. Thats LA's game to make you mad, to make you make those stupid mistakes to make the other teams coach break his clipboard and treat his players like babies .... truth is guys LA will demoralize dekalb at dekalb and better yet the rest of this 7AA district including Upperman .... do not think for one sec. that what we all seen or heard of in the past upperman LA meet lessons LA... no it makes them stronger ... it makes the small community of Livingston stronger im telling you guys if I am a high school coach i am dredding playing LA and really pulling my hair out if i have to go to their place

Good luck I watched the game they had against york at la. la was very focused and ran a full press the whole game. they do a good job of getting in the players heads. 2 t's in the first 3 minutes. the second was becuse a kid yell lets go defense that one was sad. You are right about being hard to play there when fans will interfere with players from opposing teams. I saw a boy in the student section kick one of the york players when he was trying to get uo off the court. This had no bearing on the game other than the fact that this kid was the first one that got t'ed up. la still had it going good. Good luck tigers I whish you well in your game.

For the guy getting kicked, I cannot comment on because I did not see it. As for the T's, the first one would not have been called until he started cursing, bad mistake. Second one was not due to a let's go, but due to after the player walking, yelling at the striped suited fella, saying "CALL IT BOTH WAYS!" Reason to get T'd right there. Best of luck further down the road, until we have to play again (if we have to). As for DeKalb, they will believe they can win this game after a performance against Upperman. Although I see no way, unless Livingston plays like they did at UHS. I am afraid the UHS beating woke up a ticked off lion, and everyone left, will be the prey. Watch out! BTW, Livingston, by 20.

I also heard the story that Somebody in the LA student section kicked a York player. If this is true, was it dealt with in any way? LA surley didn't press the whole game the way the score was. I don't think the 2 kids that got technicals ever come back in the game. I guess the York coach was trying to make a point.

There was once where a York player fell into the student section. Don't know about getting kicked though. As far as LA pressing the whole game....LA's first 7 or 8 players didn't play much in the second half and don't remember them at all in the fourth quarter, but I think the freshmen did play a full court man or something for a while in the fourth. If LA had wanted to score 150 they probly could have. Not like they tried to run the score up.

The kicking incident did happen. I did not see it personally, but a couple of people sitting close by me said they saw it happen. LA did press the whole game, but the 2nd half press I wouldn't call real "aggressive" for what little I know about it. The two kids that got T'd up(I don't think) never came back in the game. Not that their presence would had any bearing on the game. York was simply overmatched.

No Mercy

Don't know who started the story about a York player getting kicked, but it is not true. I watched closely when the player slid into the student section, NOTHING of that nature happened!!!!! As a matter of fact, there was a toddlier standing on the floor that the player slid into. Now you surely are not implying that the toddlier done such a thing. (PLEASE!!!!)

There you go again ...don't give yourself enough credit about sports. You are with out a doubt one of the most knowledgeable people that I have ever known about any sport especially the big 3, EXCEPT Teddybear Gunnels. He may not know as much as you do about round ball and baseball but you can't hold a candle to him when it comes to football especially any thing pertaining to the Green Bay Packers. I believe he would give the ole Shaub a run for his money don't you ? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    • Think he would be better suited to save our baseball program. We struggle to win 5 games a year but noone wants to talk about that. Could even coach from the fence across the creek should he continue in his extra curricular activities.

Such eloquent and rosy prose, contained here in, is so seldom found amongst the more jocular subset of our species. The brilliant author behind such poetic use of an obviously deep and broad vernacular, reminds me of the other-worldly talents of Oscar Wilde. I humbly thank you, kind sir, for so generously sharing your elegantly loquacious gifts. The Goat sez: You better watch your back, Lord Byron, I’m sure poetry isn’t the only talent and passion that the author shares with Oscar Wilde.
