My vote is for Coach Harris. He can run a bus to Nashville Christian in the mornings, put the offense together at Fairview during the midday........practice wrestling moves with his mom after lunch, recruit Dickson County players that live out of East Hickmans zone till about 2:30 or so.........then coach the East Hickman Eagles on reverses, trick plays, punting on 3rd down and teach them both of his pass plays in the afternoon.....................oh yeah.........and all the kids that cant show for practice he can provide daycare for them as well.

From what I see alot of this was brought on by the Coach himself, Parents are Parents........they have opinions as any other person, but for all the people who want to blame disgruntled parents, sometimes they are right,............ they were right in having issues with last years baseball Coach, He turned out to be as everyone thought. Now he will be going where he belongs.....JAIL. Does everyone know who got this pedofile the Baseball job at East Hickman????? can someone make an Educated guess????

The way i understand it is that the board interviewed and narrowed it down to 2 or 3 for the Superintendant to interview. My question is "Does the Principal of the school have any say so in who is hired at his school?"

I think the final decision is made by Dr. Nash, I am sure he will take the panels recomendations to account when he makes the decision. I hope for Harris because his standing in the Community and he really is a good Coach,kids will play for him. But I support whoever it is.

I make no bones about supporting Coach Jones and what he tried to do in his time at East. The Hickman county times had a nice article by a gentleman by the name of Mr. Victory that put the program in perspective in an intelligent manner. The fact is......... support Coach Jones or not, he is no longer the coach at East. It is time to move forward with this process and get a coach named so the kids playing football can have a chance to get whatever offense/defense in place and build a working relationship with that person and continue to grow the program. It is time to stop flogging a dead horse........... I hope that we will do a better job this next go around to show a coach that East will support its coaches and be a positive part of developing competitive football in our area. I travel a great deal with my work and frankly I am tired of our community being the butt of any sports related talk that I encounter. People in other communities get on here and read this stuff and think the loonies are running the show. I know a little trash talk is part of the game and I admit that I have been pulled into it from time to time on here. Some things are a bit overboard......... like the following from "GoodDaysAreComing":

As far as the old baseball coach.......if what he is accused of is true, may he never see a day of freedom again. Our children need to be protected from those types of behaviors without a doubt.

1. You didn't hit spellcheck, so you didn't realize that pedofile is actually spelled P-E-D-O-P-H-I-L-E

 

2. You are trying to make some link between the outgoing football coach and the old baseball coach, which is totally classless and irresponsible. Dislike the mans methods, dislike his coaching style, heck just plain old dislike him for whatever reason.............. but shots like that are uncalled for and shameful!

 

I wish for all sides involved this thread would get shut down, it has accomplished nothing......... Good luck to the new coach and the kids. I am done with this side show!

Whether you like it or not it is fact........plain and simple. If I did not hit spell check I am sorry, I do not thrive on knowing about those kind of people ,and I care less about how to spell it. Now since your out of town as you say and want to capitalize on "yesterdays" article written by the County derelict and his poorly written cheapshot he tried to take at the Middle School Coach. Nobody cares about this malingerer and his warped opinion. It does not take a rocket scientist to see his motive. He is still jealous as always. He is and always has been on the outside looking in......wishing he could be in. If you knew this guy and what he is all about you would not be praising him,you are really far away aint ya.

You obviously have me confused with someone who has a whole lot more class than who you think this is. I know from the inside and am not afraid to tell it. As a matter of a fact, if and when Harris is hired..............be prepared for a nice little article in the Tennessean about some "misdoings". Got the proof, the evidence, and the heart to get it done baby.
