intheshadow
may have to make the trip over to check this one out should be one of the more entertaining pre-season matchups! Speaking of entertaining matchups, I just saw on Beech's eteamz account that they were to scrimmage Goodpasture today. Anybody go watch this one? ldstrange
Loudon and Coalfield had a long scrimmage Thursday night...with Lyndsey Fednyk (SP?) going against our senior starter Tara Crass for four innings. Loudon got the better of the scrappy Coalfield squad 3-1 in that session, and we continued on for another 4 or 5 innings with our fresman pictcher, Emily Franks going against Coalfield's #2 pitcher with Loudon again holding off Coalfield 5 to 4 (I believe it was). The second session was pretty much JV vs JV with everybody batting and playing on defense. Jennifer has her girls ready to do great things this year and Lyndsey is a very talented pitcher...one to watch for sure. We always enjoy playing Coalfield and wish them all the best this season.
