More rumor says that Coach Duncan is very unhappy at Greeneville even though they are leaving the imac. Finally it has been heard that Coach Gordon has had enough at West and is ready to get out after his team quit on him in the district. Lots of talk what do you think happens? I mean he coaches for a while, they bring in someone else, he kicks off a player who broke rules then Sinard is back in...that was back about 5-7 years ago. As far as Duncan, he's probably going to win 2-AA and Region 1-AA the next four years if his talent level doesn't fall off drastically. It's going to be extremely tough for the teams that have been in 2-AA and 1-AA for the forseeable future to hang with a long-time AAA school that has always been pretty decent if not very good. Him leaving now is probably in protest of the alignment, which as far as I'm concerned is six to one and a half dozen to the other. He had great talent the last 2 years and has produced. Duncan is a great coach but cant handle struggling if the recruiting is not going well. The greeneville team that played against Jeff co. in the district showed great heart, skill and fundamentals, every school in the imac should be envious. Most teams in the imac would be glad to have that group to work with. Gordon did as much with the least talent as anybody in the imac in recent history but has to compete against football as well as the rest of the imac schools. That is never going to change. HULK123 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 Sinard does not need to coach the boys again, but I would like to see him take over the Lady Patriots for a few years before he retires and let Bo Lewis be his assistant so he can learn a little more.
